Putney Craft Tour, a virtual artists studio tour, Thanksgiving weekend
This will be my first year as a participating artist on The Putney Craft Tour!
The Opening of Complicit: Erasure of the Body, Friday, 3/8, Yale Divinity School. There were over 500 people in attendance of the Opening Reception, biggest art event I’ve ever been a part of. I entered 2 pieces, this is my History of Rape floor cloth, spanning from Zeus to The White House.

Initially created with old sail cloth, they’ve covered worn and tired floors for generations. The recent revival has created a renewed interest as people discover their utilitarian qualities such as easy care and durability as well as an attractive work of art.

During this American Craft Week you can win the opportunity to purchase a floor cloth at a significantly discounted rate! Send your name and contact information, with a request to be added to the list. During ACW I will be painting a 2' x 3' floor cloth, (subject/color yet to be determined), if you are the winner, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase the floor cloth for $100, a $270 value. Taxes and shipping rates applied to $100 purchase price.

Paint a Placemat- Saturday, 10/3, 10-1, they are ready to paint, you design, paint and finish, $20 each. Need help with design? I can help for small additional fee.
Collage- Sunday, 10/4, 10-1, it's up to you! I will leave you with a surface on which to create, paints, tools, glue and collage materials. (You are welcome to bring your own materials as well.) $20/person.
Children are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by their adult, as minimal direction/supervision is supplied by artist.
Bring a written piece to add to the poetry wall. This can be original, your favorite, something that haunts you, a little bit or a whole piece, it can be prepared on paper and added to the wall or you can write on the wall directly, it's up to you! cost: $0
Take a message, leave a message. Receive the message that reaches you/if you could say the thing you never got to say.... cost: $0
Re-lease your creativity in this one day workshop held in my studio located just outside Bellows Falls, VT. Using free association and humor, nestled in group participation, you will find connection and flow with your own inner river of creativity through words and images. You will learn helpful tools to return yourself to the creative flow when you find, as well all do on occasion, that you've run aground. The goal of this day is to remain present in the process. You will end the day, well on your way to the next step.
